Atlanta, GA., May 16, 2008 - Cooper-Atlanta Transportation Services, Inc. (C.A.T.S.), a leading Atlantabased luxury chauffeured transportation provider, announced today that it has acquired Colby’s Coaches, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition expands C.A.T.S. motor coach fleet offerings, and allowed the company to launch its Sports Team Division, providing transportation solutions for Georgia-based college and semi-pro athletic teams that visit venues throughout the southeast.

Curtis Wilson, formerly the owner and operator of Colby’s Coaches, will spearhead the Sports Team division for Cooper-Atlanta. His focus is on the daily management, strategic development, and continued profitable growth of this new group. Cooper-Atlanta motor coaches comfortably accommodate up to 56 passengers and their gear, with restroom and galley functionality. The executive coach is a luxury travel vehicle that can seat up to 40 passengers, and includes a galley kitchen, sleeping bunks and a conference table. In addition to serving the Sports Team clients, the company’s coach fleet provides nationwide service for corporate passengers, tour groups, celebrities, and a variety of others.
