Atlanta, May 7, 2010 - Cooper-Atlanta Transportation Services, a global provider of chauffeured ground transportation services, recently announced it has replaced ordinary water bottles with 100 percent biodegradable bottles. This action is part of the company's green initiative to reduce its carbon footprint and become more environmentally responsible.
The biodegradable water bottles, provided in each vehicle for passengers, maintain the same shelf like, clarity and appearance as traditional plastic bottles, but naturally biodegrade into biogases and inert humus. "Cooper-Atlanta is dedicated to creating a more sustainable environment for our clients and community," said Fred Rich, president of Cooper-Atlanta. "As we move forward, we will be taking additional measures to reduce our carbon footprint and become a more green organization."
